Memories from a beautiful and blessed year | London Lane Studio
Putting together this blog post was like taking a walk down memory lane. Reliving so many beautiful moments and reminiscing over wonderful clients turned friends has left my heart full this New Years Day.
Originally, I began this post as a way to showcase some of my favorite photos from the past year, but that turned out impossible. You see, every photo I deliver to my clients is a favorite because it holds with it a special person, a fond memory, a genuine laugh or a joyful tear. For this reason, I decided to forgo the unattainable idea of picking favorites and instead focused on memories from every bridal session, engagement shoot and wedding I photographed this past year.
Now it’s time for what may sound like an Academy Award acceptance speech but none of what I do would be possible without the following people and I want them to know how much they mean to me:
To my clients – thank you for entrusting me to document one of the most important days in your lives. I’m humbled by the faith and confidence you have in me and I will never take that for granted. To my fellow wedding vendors – I’m so thankful to work with such a talented and harmonious community of people. Thank you for the beauty you create that I am then able to photograph. To Irene, my dear friend and second shooter – I’m so very thankful God brought us together. You are my constant cheerleader, encourager and security blanket. I couldn’t do this without your friendship and your talent behind the camera. To Megan, my editor – you’ve given me my life back and more time with my family and for that I can’t ever thank you enough. To my husband, Justin – thank you for always believing in me and my little business. You’ve believed in me from the very beginning even when our dining room was re-purposed into a wedding invitation workshop and I barely brought in enough income to cover groceries. Thank you for continuing to believe in me and support my dreams. To my parents – thank you for all your encouragement and financial support when I wasn’t able to buy groceries. I promise to put you in a really nice nursing home one day 😉 And lastly, I praise God, from Whom all blessings flow. He’s abundantly blessed me, my family and my business and I give Him all the glory.
And now, I hope you enjoy a walk down London Lane’s 2017 memory lane….
Brides and Grooms
And I close out this post with a photo of our dear friends with me (after shooting a VERY hot outdoor August wedding) and my sweet family, the people who I do all of this for.
