What happens when a very talented wedding photographer marries a super smart NASA engineer….a dreamy, magazine-worthy wedding with subtle celestial touches.
April and Matt’s wedding day was filled with beauty – not just in the decorations but also in the love they share for each other and their family and friends. The bride and groom were very intentional when it came to incorporating meaningful touches into their wedding. From hand written notes, to thoughtful gifts, to heartfelt speeches, April and Matt took every opportunity to show their appreciation and love to those closest to them.
Now for the wedding decorations…OH. MY! April’s creative eye was evident throughout all the details and Kris Clark Designs brought it to life with beautiful flowers, soft drapings and gold accents. One of my favorite design elements was the giant crescent moon centerpiece made of live greenery and flowers – it was truly a work of art.
The ceremony was originally planned to take place outside under the trees but an unfortunate rain storm moved the ceremony indoors. Thankfully, the white walls and tall ceilings of the always breath-taking Harvest Hollow Venue & Farm makes for a fantastic Plan B in times of inclement weather. A couple of my favorite moments in the ceremony were Roscoe and Java, April and Matt’s dogs of honor, being a part of the bridal party as well as Matt meeting April down the aisle and walking her the rest of the way.
Matt and April, thank you for entrusting me with the honor of capturing the day you became husband and wife. I hope these photos will always bring back sweet memories of an even sweeter day.
