Candice and Logan | Wedding

August 25, 2018 | Private Home | Florence, Alabama

Candice and Logan originally met while studying chemical engineering at the University of Alabama. After graduation, they stayed in touch for several years as email pen pals while Logan was living abroad for work and Candice was in graduate school at Georgia Tech. Eventually, their pen pal friendship turned into something more and now they’ve been together for nearly two years and living life on the road in their motorhome with their big kitty, Cisaro.

Their wedding took place right beside Shoals Creek in the backyard of Logan’s childhood home. They incorporated gorgeous natural elements into their decor such as lush greenery, minty succulents, moss covered wood and lots of fresh white flowers. After the couple exchanged vows under a beautifully decorated trellis they led family and guests to a delicious dinner under the trees. After cutting their stunning (and delicious) five tiered cake made by Logan’s mother, Candice changed into a cute, “dance-friendly” dress. It was clear why she chose to change once she and Logan began the most amazing choreographed first dance. The couple’s family and friends (as well as their photographer) were blown away with the fun surprise.

The night continued with an evening of dancing under the twinkling white tent as a soft breeze blew over the river. The couple even integrated some of their dance moves into their grand sparkler send off.

I hope you enjoy some photos from this beautiful day.

We, of course, had to take some photos of Candice and Logan in front of their “house” and we had to include their sweet kitty, Cisaro.

Logan’s mom made this beautiful and delicious cake!
