Chandler and Spencer’s beautiful wedding at the always breathtaking Harvest Hollow Venue and Farm felt like a fun reunion to me. Just over two years ago I had the pleasure of photographing Chandler’s older sister’s wedding at Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation on the hottest day in August! Then last year I took her younger brother’s senior portraits before he headed off to Auburn. And on Saturday, I was able to spend the day with this incredible family again as we celebrated Chandler marrying the man of her dreams, Spencer. I’m so thankful for a job that allows me to get to know precious people like the Elder family.
Chandler and Spencer’s wedding day could not have been more perfect! From the glorious fall weather (and temperatures) to the dreamy white barn venue to the tremendous amount of love shared between the bride and groom and their family members…it really was a picture perfect day.
When I asked Chandler about what she was most looking forward to on her wedding day, this was her sweet response, “There are so many things I am excited about when it comes to the wedding day!!! But the number one thing that I am most excited about is to FINALLY be called Mrs. Smith. I have been so excited to marry Spencer for such a long time and it feels like I have waited forever to marry my guy. Being his wife is something that I have prayed about so much since we started dating and to get to have that title as “Spencer’s wife” will remind me of just how much grace our God lavishes on His children. So, the part where the officiant says “Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Smith” at the end of the ceremony… that is what I look forward to the most!” You can see Spencer shared the same excitement by scrolling down to the photos taken right after the first kiss!
Spencer and Chan, I hope you are having a blast in the Dominican Republic and I pray BIG blessings for your upcoming marriage!
