There are many reasons that I will forever remember Jess and Chris’ wedding day, but the main one is the love and kindness that radiated from not only the bride and groom but also their families. During a difficult time in my family’s life these people have shown me so much sympathy and grace and I will forever be grateful to them.
Chris and Jess’ wedding was exquisite! They had an amazingly talented team of vendors who came together to make Jess’ dream a reality. I’ve never seen so many gorgeous flowers in one place – InBloom truly out did themselves! The grand ballroom at the Botanical Garden was filled with the rich aroma of flowers from the lavish centerpieces and gorgeous table garlands. Honestly, my photos don’t even do them the justice they deserve!
Jess, I’m so thankful our paths crossed at Marybeth’s wedding. I feel so honored that you chose me to document the day you married your best friend and that through this journey I can now call you my friend. I hope these photos will always bring you joy.
This pearl bracelet was worn by Jess’s grandmother and mother on their wedding days and Jess was able to carry on the tradition by wearing it on her wedding day as well. She also wore these two gold bands that were her mother’s wedding rings. These little sentimental touches make my heart pitter patter!
From Jess in reference to this handkerchief: “The hanky was my dad’s mother’s hanky, and it is special because the butterfly on it. My nickname from my mother is Butterfly Baby because she would tell me that butterflies are beautiful creatures that look fragile, but have the strength to push through the wind so she would tell me I was a butterfly that pushed through the wind of adversity.”
Jess wanted to do a first look with her brother too! Such sweet siblings!
I love this precious moment between Jess and her dad right before they walk into the church and down the aisle.
Sweet Mackenzie, one of my previous London Lane brides!!
Jess has ALWAYS loved butterflies so her mom decided to surprise her and Chris with a butterfly release to celebrate their union as husband and wife.
And Joshua…one of my previous grooms. Every wedding reception needs a Joshua Gooch!!
