A few rain and thunder storms didn’t dampen Juliana and Jake’s summer wedding day! Although you can’t tell from these photos, the rain poured and the lighting flashed around the top of Monte Sano Mountain but the bride and groom never stopped beaming with happiness and joy. Thankfully, the majority of the inclement weather came right after the couple’s outdoor ceremony where they exchanged the sweetest vows under the gazebo and were then greeted with a sea of bubbles as they walked hand in hand down the aisle as husband and wife.
After the ceremony, Juliana and Jake, along with their family and friends, danced the night away to the amazing musical talents of The Atlanta Allstars. Boy, does this band know how to entertain a crowd! We all danced the night away as Joy Varnell, a live event artist, painted a beautiful scene of the bride and groom twirling away on the dance floor.
J & J, thank you for choosing me to document your wedding. It was such an honor and joy to laugh and cry with you! I hope these photos will always bring back special memories of your special day.
These bridal gowns were worn by the bride & groom’s mothers and grandmother.
Juliana is an avid thespian and these were gowns she wore in various productions where her character was a bride. Another fun fact: Juliana’s mother made all of them!
This was my first experience with a live artist and it was so fun to watch her progress throughout the night.
