Mallory and Luke | Wedding

March 3, 2018 | Huntsville First United Methodist Church | The Roundhouse

My first wedding for 2018 was definitely one for the memory books! Not only was it beautiful with lots of white walls (us photographers LOVE white walls) softened with greenery and accented with my favorite color right now – moon blue – but it was a day surrounded by friends who have come to feel like family.

You see, Mallory, the bride, is the younger sister of one of my previous grooms. His wife, Melissa, has a sister who’s wedding I also photographed and they both have a cousin who’s a past London Lane bride. That’s 4 weddings from one amazing family!! (There’s actually a photo of all of us towards the end of the post!) This is just one of the many reasons I love my job so much – it allows me the opportunity to have a very large “extended” family.

Mallory and Luke were married at the gorgeous Huntsville First United Methodist Church where the white exterior walls and the trademark purple doors make the perfect backdrop for some beautiful photos. Some tears of joy were shed during the sweet ceremony followed by moments of pure bliss as the bride and groom realized they were officially husband and wife!

The entire bridal party then loaded a trolley and headed to The Roundhouse for a night filled with dinner and dancing under thousands of twinkling lights. The musical talents of The Flavor Big Band from Atlanta kept the party going till the bride and groom were sent off on their honeymoon through a sea of sparklers.

I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from Mallory and Luke’s special day!

L-R: The Moores, The Gordons, Me & The Butlers and all London Lane couples! Love them all so much and so thankful I’ve been able to share in so many of their special moments.
